Following on its successful appearance at AfricaCom in 2015, MiRO will once again showcase its extensive range of wireless technologies, passive fibre and VoIP products between 15 and 17 November 2016 in Cape Town.
MiRO CEO Bertus van Jaarsveld says that this will be the company’s third time as an exhibitor at this prestigious event, which sees more than 375 exhibitors engaging with over 10 000 visitors, intent on sourcing leading edge communications solutions.
Leveraging the attendance of delegates to the high-profile conference sessions taking place alongside the exhibition, MiRO sees attendance at AfricaCom as an essential element in its overall marketing strategy to demonstrate customised IP convergence solutions to a captive audience.
AfricaCom presents MiRO Distribution with the perfect opportunity to meet international and local suppliers, as well as potential resellers from sub-Saharan Africa. It is also the ideal platform to display the company’s total IP convergence solutions in a highly receptive environment.
“We received numerous leads, which translated into the registration of many new clients from all over Africa in the week immediately after the 2015 exhibition. The common consensus was that visitors were very interested in our technology and service offering. The calibre of visitors, which included project managers, product managers, CTOs and CEOs, was very high,” says Van Jaarsveld.
The stand, which is growing in size every year, will house MiRO’s top IP convergence brands – Grandstream, RF Elements, Siklu, Edge-Core, Uniview, Ubiquiti, Cambium and BDCom (FTTX). A number of these brands will form part of the total solutions section of the stand whilst the remainder of the brands are exhibited around this central area. MiRO product managers representing each brand, as well as direct representation from a selection of manufacturers, will be in attendance to assist visitors with information on best practice and discuss sustainable and scalable solutions.
“There is no doubt that AfricaCom has the ability to drive increased exposure for our ever-growing portfolio of IP convergence solutions. We look forward to interacting with our existing and prospective customers and presenting the benefits of IP solutions to the high-end visitors,” Van Jaarsveld concludes.
