MiRO Distribution will be exhibiting the latest BDCOM product range and other cool tech at the 2016 MyBroadband Conference.
Taking place in Midrand on 20 October 2016, the MyBroadband Conference is the premier event of its kind in South Africa, attracting IT executives and delegates from around the country.
Now in its 12th year, it promises to be the biggest and best conference yet, and MiRO will be showcasing its extensive range of wireless IP convergence products at the event.
“MiRO has always been a part of the MyBB show since it started,” says MiRO Distribution CEO Bertus van Jaarsveld.
“The MyBroadband Conference is a great marketing opportunity to the end users of our products, and it shows our involvement within the industry.
“Face to Face marketing is an integral part of Marketing for MiRO, as two of our core values are to build lasting relationships with our customers by constantly exceeding their expectation and to empower our customers and colleagues by sharing our knowledge and experience.”
At the conference, MiRO will be showcasing a range of IP Convergence products, with a special focus this year on cloud-based, as well as on-premises managed Wi-Fi and Fibre-to-the-home solutions.
“This is the natural progression for SMBs in the ICT industry,” says Marco de Ru, CTO at MiRO.
Products that MiRO will be presenting at the conference will include:
- EnGenius Managed Wi-Fi
- Edimax PRO series of business class, managed Wi-Fi
- Open-Mesh modular cloud-managed Wi-Fi solutions
- BDCom – EPON, Passive Optical Fibre solutions – perfect for SMB FTTx rollouts
“We have just launched our new Fibre to the home product range from BDCOM, and this will be showcased at the MyBroadband Conference,” adds van Jaarsveld.
BDCOM technologies is a provider of highly scalable passive optical fibre networking equipment, specifically EPON, allowing MiRO to bring fibre and Ethernet together in a complete end-to-end point-to-multipoint solution.
This will ensure that service providers have access to the necessary equipment to enable them to roll out fibre-to-the-home and fibre-to-the-business deployments with a very attractive return on investment.
“We are focused on introducing cost-effective, high-performance IP convergence technologies into the South African market,” says de Ru.
“This is backed with the necessary training and after-sales support expected from the preferred connectivity partner, as we act as an enabler for the sustainable sharing of knowledge.”
