Grandstream’s automated provisioning technology enables service providers and enterprise IT administrators to massively and automatically deploy Grandstream SIP CPE devices from a central location, whether the devices are deployed over the Internet behind firewall/NAT or within a corporate network environment. Grandstream’s automated provisioning technologies not only allow “zero” configuration, plug-and-dial for end users, but also make it possible for a system administrator to remotely control, modify settings and upgrade the firmware in an automatic and secure fashion. Grandstream Automated Provisioning System, aka GAPS, is the server side software application designed this purpose.
Why Choose GAPS?
- Partners can now access GAPS so they can easily redirect devices to their own provisioning server or their customers.
- Allows for ZERO configuration, plug-and-dial for end users
- Allows system administrators to remotely control/modify settings/upgrade firmware automatically and securely.
In addition to providing service providers and IT Administrators with the enhanced ability to securely deploy and remotely manage Grandstream endpoints from a central location, the new GAPS platform offers these new features:
- Individual Client Account Management. Distribution partners, for example, can create sub accounts so their resellers/customers can access their own profiles under the umbrella of the main distributor.
- Customers can quickly make changes in the provisioning system without the intervention of third parties. Once an order is placed, all devices can be managed via GAPS.
- Customers can search and track individual or batch device provisioning activity.
- Full secure servers in a trusted environment to access the GAPS portal.
- User Management – add/remove accounts with different profiles.
