Reliable connectivity in high-interference environments
Cambium Networks announced the availability of the ePMP Force 190 wireless broadband module. The Force 190 design is based on input from wireless ISP service providers around the world, providing an affordable, quality connection that is interference-tolerant and can be rapidly deployed to provide a high-speed link almost anywhere in a matter of hours.
When configured for a point-to-point wireless link, the system provides up to 200 Mbps of connectivity for streaming video, voice and data applications. When deployed in a point-to-multipoint configuration with the ePMP 2000 or ePMP1000 Access Point (AP), the Force 190 Subscriber Module (SM) provides up to 200 Mbps of bi-directional throughput to a long-range with its 22 dBi antenna.
Key Force 190 features include:
- Cambium Networks’ ePMP Force 190 will lower the logistical cost of ownership by reducing shipping costs with its highly compact packaging
- The ePMP Force 190 is designed to operate in high-interference environments and provides throughput of up to 200Mbps with bi-directional traffic of real user data.
- Configurable Modes of operation ensure robust adaption to both symmetrical and asymmetrical traffic while providing high performance and round-trip latency as low as 2-3m.
- QoS management offers an outstanding quality for triple play services-VoIP, video and data and provides three levels of traffic priority.
- Long deployment range is enabled by a high gain antenna combined with 27dBm of transmit power.
- This platform is for the user base that wants a smaller on-premises footprint while enabling high gain.
- Installation is a breeze with the easy to install the mount, capable of pole and wall mounting
