Meet the NEW hEX, an entirely new class of product in the RouterBOARD lineup, the low cost RB750Gr3 is a small five port gigabit Ethernet router with a USB 2.0 port, for locations where wireless connectivity is not required.
This new updated revision of the hEX brings several improvements in performance.
- 880 MHz CPU, 2 cores with 4 threads total
- 256 MB RAM
- Full size USB
- microSD slot for “Dude server” support
- IPsec hardware acceleration ~450 Mbps
Not only is it affordable, small, good looking and easy to use – It’s probably the most affordable MPLS capable Gigabit router on the market!
The Dude server on hEX RB750Gr3
New hEX (RB750Gr3) unit is ideal for small to medium size The Dude server installations. For server database storage on this device you have two options: microSD cards (up to 128 GB) or USB flash storage.
Note that preferably you should use industrial grade microSD cards and USB flash storage as they have longer life cycle under applications that can write data to flash more frequently as The Dude server database in this case.
No more compromise between price and features – the RB750Gr3 has both. With its compact design and clean looks, it will fit perfectly into any SOHO environment.
