MiRO opened a new branch in Nairobi, Kenya to provide customers in east Africa with the same great service and powerful communication solutions as their Southern African customers have become used to.
Nairobi, Kenya, will be host to the expansion of MiRO’s services to the East African region. The expansion to East Africa is a Hudaco group initiative, bringing together four leading telecommunication and security distributors, MiRO, Elvey, Global Communications and Pentagon, to Kenya and surrounding countries.
These 4 businesses, all part of the Hudaco group, will operate from the same premises in Kenya, offering clients a complimentary range of solutions from IP Networking and telecommunication, Intrusion and security, Surveillance and access control, building management and even two-way radio communication.
The focus and quality of service will expand on what is currently being offered in Southern Africa, with a qualified and professional team ready to offer expert product solutions, support and technical assistance, backed by significant stock in-country to ensure customers have access to a ready supply of solutions in-country and payment in local currency.
The four leading brands that MiRO Kenya will be focusing on are MikroTik, Grandstream, Ubiquiti and Cambium Networks, with the first stock shipment already underway to provide new and existing clients with full, enterprise, IP convergence solutions.
The launch of MiRO Kenya will happen on 15-16 May 2018 at East AfricaCom. East AfricaCom is the premier strategic event for telecoms, media, broadcasting and technology leaders in East Africa. This event focuses on connectivity infrastructure, digital services, ICT strategy and enhancing the transformational impact of technology on business and society.
This will be followed by an open day at the MiRO Kenya offices on 17 May 2018 where the team will be ready to meet new customers, and provide presentations on MiRO’s offering of expert advice and service, with the purpose to serve Kenya, as well as the East African region, as a whole.
“We firmly believe that there is a huge demand and need for our services in the East African region” says Bertus van Jaarsveld, MD at MiRO distribution, “with our new offices serving not only Kenya but the East African region as a whole, this expansion will enable us to continue in our mission to empower more businesses to connect communities.”
