Splynx 3.0 has landed!

The best all-in-one ISP billing solution has just got better, now offering more advanced features and optimised areas to make it even more functional and user friendly for wireless ISPs (WISP).

Splynx is an ISP billing software created specifically for internet service providers (ISPs), WISPs and network administrators. Splynx 3.0 builds on this already powerful software solution, designed to cater for billing, invoicing, hotspot billing, client portals, network management and equipment monitoring, central system configuration or radius server management requirements.

The new version has advanced scheduling, including a mobile app and improved automatic voice processing which will improve customer service. Looking at the customer lead management aspect, either the lead can be entered manually or using the sign-up widget to quickly and easily set up a contact form on a website. Customers can select the product or package they want, a professional quote is created for sending and once the customer has accepted the quote, they automatically go into the recurring payer section of the database.

Within the Splynx framework, ISPs can manage and shape traffic data from the network. Main features include FUP management, CAP configuration, IP address management, contentions, aggregations, queues for speed limitation, network monitoring and network weather maps.

“Splynx’s radius server is an easy-to-use administration and billing solution for MikroTik,  Cambium, Ubiquiti, and other platforms,” continues Schoeman. “This server runs on Linux with advanced features making it the ideal solution for companies of all sizes.

“Inventory management is one of the challenges of modern telecom companies as there can be thousands of items in the stock list and it is difficult to keep this list actual without using special management software. The inventory module in Splynx allows providers to seamlessly handle this task and it is optimised for use with barcode scanners, which means spending less time managing inventory and more time managing the business.”

With the changing patterns and trends that have evolved through the global lockdown, maintaining a loyal customer base is critical and the Splynx customer portal lets ISPs collaborate and work better with their clients. Users can get support and notifications, change plans without delays, check usage or pay online using their credit card or a payment gateway account.
